Details
Not often do vessels of this pedigree come onto the market. "Thunderbird One" measuring 54 feet is the smallest yacht built by the French Superyacht builder JFA Yachts, to the same standard as all vessels from this manufacturer. It was designed by Berret Racoupeau of La Rochelle who designed for Beneteau for 30 years.
This beauty is not your average vessel. She is a one of a kind, comfortable performance yacht with retracting keel 1.6M up to 3M down. Originally launched in 1999 for the first owner who owned her for 18 months, before being purchased by an Australian who sailed her via Spain then across the Atlantic and down the USA coast to South America then onto the Magellan Straights, through the straights up to Chilli and across the South Pacific to French Polynesia and back to Australia. Since that time she has had many adventures to her third owners with similar destinations including Japan.
She has been impeccably maintained by her current owners with many upgrades including Dometic 16000 btu reverse cycle air conditioning as well as an extrewmely efficient Eberspacher D5 diesel heating system for those voyagers to icy climates. There is a 100hp turbo Yanmar, retractable bow thruster, 5.7 kva Westerbeke Generator, 100lph water maker, second alternator, dive tank locker, swing down transom door/ swim platform, fully enclosed cockpit with near new upholstery and many more comforts to enable her a safe and secure passage.
This vessel is in excellent condition which is a testament to her current owners, and with a genuine reason to sell, she is ready to create memories for the next custodians.
